Alright, after reading for a bit this story is flat out terrible. It's pacing is non existent, it slows down for boring things such as deciding on radio and drags it out to a page. I get having development between characters but it is just chapters and chapters of small talk and conversation. I ended up skipping most of the club arc just because of this. The author manages to crap out tonnes of words without anything actually happening.I can confidently say 100k of the 250k words will be pointless and almost intelligible gibberish. The chapters show zero trace of grammar or spellcheck. It's like decoding some hidden text to only be disspointed when you eventually figure out what it's trying to say. Plot is non existent a quarter way through. Only about 3 chapters are diary entries, so it's novel premise doesn't even have a chance under the piles of shit on top of them. Most reviews have better quality than this terrible 'story'. It isn't even a dumpster fire that's fun to watch burn, it's a furball trying to pass off as silk. I have no idea how this is so popular and would not reccomend this to ANYONE unless you have read every single thing on Earth, and even then have second thoughts. Do. Not. Read.

This seems less like a Diary and more like a regular fanfic with some diary entries. Also, you might want to clean up your spelling and grammar. Could get better later, but it really pulls me out of the experience. Read it while you wait for something better to come out, it's like Naruto for Artemis fowl fanfics.

I always found Artemis’s lie to be an inferior motivator than the truth in that book. I suspect it was because the truth was suspiciously good motivation and Artemis assumed Holly would think it was manipulation and not help him.

Investigates polluting of the Earth only to discover that it’s so minor as to be nearly unnoticeable other than a few small areas practically so small as to go unnoticed without actively looking for them. Also that humans actively work to prevent and clean up pollution.

Tries to save the world from global warming only to discover what human scientists already know: that global warming and cooling cycles are perfectly natural.

Tries to stop the polar ice caps from melting only for Artemis’s kid brothers to make fun of them for failing primary school science: ice floating in water does not change the water level when it melts, the same for the ice caps. It’s one of the most basic science principles know to man: changing state does not change volume.

It’s a good chapter, but it just bothers me that Artemis calls his mom ‘mom’ but in the books he calls her mum.
