I have got to say this is very well done. I haven't seen a single story that had lightning actually working for it and pushing for something the way you had her push. I imagine this is way in the past by now since you wrote this but well done and I'll definitely be looking at any of your other pieces

Nice story. It had a nice flow; how you started with Hope's pain then Lightning's and how it came together in the end. The in between of them being stranded and the three days everyone was together was a nice read too.

I like how she finally understood the pain he went through years ago and how you described his iron heart going away. This was a good read. Nice job!

I know this story has aged over the years, but I just wanted to drop off this review anyway. I'd just recently gotten into FFXIII over this past winter break, thus kindling the start of me taking a liking to this paring. I just want to say that this story was hands down on of the the best LightxHope fanfics out there, regardless of what statistics say. I like how their romantic activities at the end were reasonable and not rushed or overdone. Some stories involve the pairing jumping straight to the gun to..."make love" or have them progress their relationship too quickly.

Anyway, the whole idea of this story is absolutely wonderful. I applaud you for keeping all of the characters in character- making the story all in all more than just a fictional fantasy (no pun intended), but something realistic and believable.

I've been working on my own LightningxHope story for quite some time now, but I am a little hesitant to post it. Reason being, I currently have an unfinished fanfiction to deal with in which I haven't updated in nearly a year. (I unintentionally grew out of the fandom as the years went on, unfortunately leaving an indefinite cliff hanger.) I want to finish the story, but it's so hard for me to focus on it when FFXIII keeps taking over my thoughts.

Heh...well enough of my incessant rambling, I'll start to wrap up this review. I know you said that this pairing needs more love with fanfics, so I hope that I can contribute to those numbers in a positive manner soon. If you do happen to see this review, it would really help to hear from an amazing writer such as yourself. I know this story is almost four years old so it is unlikely that you will reply, but if you were to just take a glimpse- knowing that you took the time out of your busy schedule to read this- that'd be more than enough for me.

Seriously, this story did not disappoint or fail to surprise me in anyway. It was truely almost completely flawless. Also, please excuse any grammatical issues I may have had. I am posting from my phone, which is rather stupid xD
