I think so far so good. It just explained Carol Marcus, to set her in the movie but it is enjoyable to read about them younger. Also I don't think anyone is covering about Spock Prime feeling like a fish out of water,so to speak. Even with a big brain there is always a fight with the emotions to catch up. Is everything really the same? Is there going to be some conclutions that are going to be wrong because the need to be home is stronger. Grief last a long time even when we handle it well. Yet the new also start to be familiar. Constant correction to keep the balance.

Also Spock has a hornet's temper. Spock Prime never seemed to have had one as quick as that. Seldom used it. I really wanted to just thank you for the whole concept and look forward to reading more. I'm new to this whole fanfiction site. I like the reading part so far. Looking forward to your updates.

Gosh, I do wonder who Spock ended up marrying, in the original timeline. Hopefully, we'll find out in two years. I can't wrap my mind around a Vulcan just "dating" someone, without more commitment. Promiscuous behavior is just not the Vulcan way. I'd hate to see this Spock, when his "time" came.

Prime Spock has one advantage going his way. He ought to have a pretty good idea which Klingon is more worthy of trusting than the other. And he knows how sneaky the Romulan military is.

I have to ask why it took Kirk three years to find out Nyota's first name, and then when he did, he had this look of realization on his face, like he'd heard or seen it before. How did he know Archer's dog? Why was it "so weird?" Me thinks they left out more of the movie than just the Rura Penthe scenes. Were they all left out for a specific reason?

I'm enjoying the relationship between Spock and Uhura. It should have taken place in TOS. It/she brings out a different side of Spock. I like his growing sense of humor. Poor Prime. I do feel sorry for him though. He left everything, of course, then I have to ask why he left everything. For a chance to change the past? I'm thinking though, that the Federation has to know of the Borg, since the Narada was made up of Borg technology. Would the technology inadvertently signal the Borg in the Delta Quadrant?

Interesting story plotline. Could you somehow make the romance between Kirk and Marcus go slower? It seems a little too fast, but, then again, I've only seen Star Trek: 2009. It would be interesting to see where this plot leads.
