Saissa chapter 5 . 6/18 That was a GREAT chapter! So many interesting subjects outside of hogwarts! Such a pity that this story has been abandoned... |

hellhound-d.o.w chapter 6 . 11/19/2019 It's a pity this appears to be a dead story. It's well written so far and seems to be very interesting. I'll go ahead and give it a follow anyway in the hopes it was just a long hiatus. Keep up the good work though and I hope you continue and finish this one. |

KrisB-71854 chapter 6 . 7/8/2019 I've been re-reading your fics. This is the second or third time that I've read this fic. It's been rather enjoyable each time. The only bit that is really surprising is the Dursley change. You needed that to allow for Harry to go so that's allowable. I've enjoyed the making friends in different houses. Justin seems like my favorite character. On the Harry/Daphne Front, I generally like the pairing, but it seems that he's meet her family more than is needed. Did they ever actually have that date or met up? He is meeting her parents and all that... Nothing wrong with that, but it's far too soon for that sort of thing. I think a bit of that is more for her parents to meet BWL Harry and get a feel for him. Oh, they know Daphne is interested in him, but that's new and hasn't really had a chance to develop. You've interested tons of fun concepts in this fic. I'd love for your muse to get back on this one. I actually don't care about the usual Hogwarts background so much. I'd rather see this other side of the magical world and also the various people at Hogwarts that Harry usually doesn't socialize with. I liked the bit with the Pensive, but if Harry has gone to the trouble of obtaining the pensive, he should have asked for the instructions to it as well. The mind arts class being needed to make use of it is even better though. I could see Harry's Hogwart's adventures being watched by a ton of folks at Dee when it comes time. I'm actually looking forward to the scene where they play mad scientist with his scar. They don't need to fix it, but just toss out tons of scanning spells and tell us everything about it and what would be needed to remove it. Some of this, I'd like to fast forward and just see the finished summer stuff. That'd be boring though. I feel bad that Ginny didn't get the summer school classes. She's about the only one of the household that would have really made use of it. I'm a tad mixed on Hermione being as harsh towards Luna as she is. I'd hope that the pair could get along and become friends. I'm really looking forward to that camping trip. There were some bits that I'd love to see fleshed out more. The bits about Draco's mom and sister. The little girl was cute. His mom looked like she was under some sort of mind control with Draco holding the leash. Shudders there. I've actually enjoyed Harry's coming up with ideas on testing magical strength. Nothing should be ground breaking, but there could be some easy standardized tests that could be made. Make a cube of stone and see how far various individuals could side along with it. And have some sort of standardized transfigurations and then time how long they all last. You could also run other tests to see just how much various individuals could do before they were exhausted and needed their magic refilled. There are tons of some what interesting science experiments that they could do. Hmm, I could see Harry or others sending out informational packs about the Dee school to various other magical familys that had never heard about them. Nah, they'd need some sort of directory of names to send them to. It shouldn't be too difficult to poach that info from Hogwarts and send it to recent grads or those that had seemingly disappeared. When they eventually have kids, they might not chose Hogwarts if they know about the other options. I'm wondering how the heck Hermione ended up going to Hogwarts rather than Dee. It seems like she'd have enjoyed Dee far more. |
cckeimig chapter 6 . 6/9/2019 I have really enjoyed this story so far—seems to have some really unique ideas in the mix. I know it’s probably been abandoned, considering the dates involved, but I’m following it just in case. |
aehtna chapter 6 . 5/14/2019 What a fascinating story! The Dee school and your magical theory are really interesting to read. The magical creature hunt is a wonderful way aspect to the story - the idea of really exploring a magical world rather than just fighting evil. |
