This is my favourite Eric/Sookie story. I’ve read it many times and always find it completely satisfying. I love the pace and the way you refuse to succumb to the temptation to write pages and pages of tedious reflections. Your characters do what they do instead of internally whining about things.

I feel like I've just read the cliffnotes version of a great story. Like, I loved the plot, but I felt like the chapters/action moved too fast, and with a narrative that was a little "blunt" for my taste. It was like the story just lacked some sort of "flow". That said, I read the entire thing in a day, so I really did enjoy the plot of the story and wanted to see where it was going. If I were to rate the story on a scale of 1 to 5, it would get a nice 3.

Loved the story! Now I realize why Eric was so hesitant towards the end, he didn't like the idea that Sookie may possibly feel like a prisoner at his home just as she did at the palace. Thankfully she loved him enough that she had already chosen him, as he had chosen her. Excellent story! Thank you so much for sharing!
