haha lovely story. I am not a IchiRuki fan tbh. I think of them as brother/sister and more platonic. However most UlquiHime fans seem to like IchiRuki so I guess any UH fanfic without IR is unavoidable. But I liked that ulqui and Ori were both in character. Frankly Ichigo came across as a huge asshole (and so did Rukia). And since I love those two as much if not more as Ori and Ulqui, I disliked that about this fic.

For one, I don't think Ichigo and Orihime have such a bland interaction in canon (I am surprised at how many comments here think this would be their romantic relationship. I think they should read beyond the SS and arrancar arc). Their relationship is slightly different from IR and both Rukia and Orihime bring out and compliment different sides of his personality. But this is a AU story and obviously a failed marriage. Its also a one shot, so I understood why you didn't delve deeper into the IH side of things.

But apart from the OOC Ichigo and Rukia, I liked this story. I loved how she calls Ulqui a demon prince. And I love how blunt and perceptive Ulquiorra is.

Honestly I used to be an Ichihime fan back in the day but this story basically summarized everything that made me want to change to Ulquihime. Ichigo is kind of an asshole, and I really liked your take on how their relationship would probably be.

It is just what I expected, greatly awesome! Just wondering, but I think it'd be a good idea if you continue with a second part to this story... maybe when Ichigo and Orihime are in court in divorce process and arguing for the first time. How about in that first ride, Ulquiorra took her to meet his, who are rich. These are just suggestions, I don't know what you think. But really, it is one of the finest story about them that I had read so far.

I do enjoy a good AU every now and then. Love that Grimmjaw and Ulquiorra are roomies - kinda funny since they hated one another in the anime. 3
