Guildsnake chapter 40 . 1/9/2018 I simply love this fic. I wasn't able to do anything else than read until it was over. Thank you. There isn't many fics that do that to me :-) |
Chrysanthemvm chapter 40 . 9/27/2016 Holy crap I didn't expect that. I should have! It was adorable from the start but the summary tricked me into believing something would change! It only got sweeter? Is there a ship name for Kisara and Atem? There should be! As much as a die-hard fan I am of puzzleshipping (and blueshipping!), I am delighted to enjoy another ship this endearing. I am, though, deeply uncomfortable with two-timing, but that's a personal issue. It could have been just the two of them and I wouldn't feel this bitter! Nevertheless, I hope they're happy forever. I really liked how you reeled in so many characters. Having Mai at the start was what made me continue reading, to be honest. She was so refreshing! I live for that attitude! What a great characterization. The Ishtar family just broke me. 10/10 would die for them. I am now thirsty for more sibling fun! The favourite thing of the whole read, to me, is Otogi. Oh lord, how can I find myself enraptured by a character I barely pay attention to in canon? I think it's time to find some more fics with him in them! (With a gun! Also Yuugi if possible!) Thanks for writing this! Kudos for finishing it. |
Canthre chapter 40 . 3/27/2016 Wow, that was quite a read. Okay, so first things first: 1. I really liked the way you paced the plot, it was captivating and not rushing too much. I also must say that you dealt with all well known 'Atem-returns-from-the-Afterlife' cliche rather well. 2. Great work on dealing with action, I think. And characters, they really felt real to me! 3. Okay, the thing that didn't work for me: Puzzleshipping. I'm going to go quite ahead in here, and say that in the end I'd have enjoyed the story if you dropped the Puzzleshipping and... made Yuugi and Atem ultimate bros for life maybe? For me (that should be bolded, of course!) the problem with how you've written them was that their relationship felt sort of unconvincing, especially when paired with others you portrayed. Don't get me wrong, I actually swear by Puzzleshipping, but here it felt... either too much or not enough for the situation in here. Dunno, maybe I'd feel different if you'd had put Yuugi in a similar situation as well, that would give a feeling of... equality? Satisfaction that they both have relationships outside their own, and making it unique that way? 4. Uhm, nice characterisation on Yuugi. I liked that he was angry, but he isn't the one to hold the grudge. Although a mean part of me wants him to! ;) Hm, maybe the ending felt a bit rushed to me, but I understand it was the end for you! 5. To sum it up, I liked your story! It left me thinking over very many things, and maybe not all too happy, but I guess it isn't a bad thing. Sorry for the ramble, and have a nice day! C. |
SereHime chapter 20 . 1/10/2016 ...I'm sorry. I know she's a good person and all, but... I REALLY don't like Sarah. She irritates me and I don't know why. :( |
SereHime chapter 2 . 1/10/2016 Question. Isn't is "Ra" instead of "Re"? |
Akayuki Novak chapter 40 . 9/4/2015 *feeling strangely content and light, which also has a reverse effect of leaving me feeling off-balance* I loved this story from beginning to end. Thank you /so much/ for writing. I just... I'm so happy for them. It's amazing. So once more, thank you. |
MiyaKasumi chapter 1 . 2/28/2014 I must admit I was skeptical about the original character and Atem falling in love, but I am glad I decided to read this anyway (I usually don't read stories where original characters fall in love with main ones I dislike the feeling that the authors have put themselves into a fantasy.)This is... wow that it about the only way I can describe it. It's beautiful, wonderfully written and I love how you managed to merge the love of the three together where they could coexists without the three of them sharing a romantic love or harboring ill feelings. The thing I must praise about this story though is that you made them human, and realistic even in their situation that, let's be honest, they can never truly be normal. The kidnapping was realistic even for Bakura, and the emotions were true to the characters and to the way anyone would react as well. You didn't make Atem a living God and you didn't make Yugi a perfect angel. That has been what has drawn me to this story. I plan to see what other stories you have come up with. |
Fierce.Of.Mind chapter 40 . 12/4/2013 This story is amazing. You are an amazing author... it was all so well written. I have to thank you for putting in the time it must have taken to write this story. It has made me better to have read this... P.S.- sorry for the corniness, but all true! |
mjadzia chapter 40 . 7/1/2013 I've read your post in your bio about possibly not writing anymore but I really feel you need a sequel to this story, it feels like there are to many unanswered questions about their triangular or what feels like a triangular relationship, the duel with Kaiba and the up coming baby for there not to be a sequel. Also I really like the universe created/used it feels plausable as a continuation to the series. Please do not give up on this universe you've created as I'm sure many others want more of you writing. |
Chibi-Celesti chapter 1 . 2/24/2013 Hello there. I'm sorry to say this but despite an excellent story plot and character build up, you turned a few puzzle/blind shippers like me away after reading the whole story. If I were to rate this story, it would be 4.5 /10. This being said, the reason is with your Oc so intimately close to Atem that mad me upset since the story was supposed to be Yamixyugi and since Yugi almost didn't exist in the story describes that maybe you were probably leaning on an Atemxoc rather than Atemxyug. When ever you want to start up another puzzleshipping, find a beta who can help you with an M rated romance puzzleshipping without a characterxoc subplot that turns away reviewrs like, Kay? Ciao for now! |
foxdreamer chapter 20 . 7/26/2012 Let me first say that this is a really good story. However, we're only half way through and I am getting really sick of Sarah. It's not her story, get her out of it. You say she is technically not an AU character since she is a reincarnation, but she is comming very close to being a Mary Sue. This is supposed to be a puzzelshipping story, yet Yugi is barely mentioned. Enough with Sarah, lets have some more interaction between Yugi and Atem. |
stardustdragonite chapter 40 . 7/26/2012 Incredible writing, I've been sitting in the same spot for countless hours, even running to use the restroom so I could get back to reading your incredible tale. You are truly talented with the characters you have created. As a hxc blindshipping it tore me apart to see Atem with Sarah but I think their whole relationship was needed to make this story as realistic as you did. I'll stop raving about your wonderful work now. :) |
kayura sanada chapter 40 . 5/28/2012 And the perfect ending. Yes, that was the best place to end it. Anything more and it would have been a forced continuance. Nice job. And I guess the 'full circle' quote could be used again, too, for Sarah. And she's gonna meet Seto knocked up. /chortles maniacally/ Oh, oh, can you just see it? The father and stepfather meeting to play with the baby... /dies laughing/ I'm so very happy I stumbled upon this! Excellent work. And now I is the sleepy, so I is goings to bed. /snores/ -Kayura |
kayura sanada chapter 39 . 5/27/2012 /brain explodes/ I am open to several different kinds of love and walks of life, and I respect all sexual pairings, but I have to say that I always struggle with the idea of a person loving two people (I mean sexually loving, not like a parental or sibling love) at the same time with equal fervor. I suppose it's possible... but it's hard for me to accept. Yes, a large part is because I'm a romantic. But another, also extremely large part, is because I know the science behind 'love,' and that makes it much more difficult to believe. /shrugs/ Still, you're writing this very well, and since it's now officially 2:49 am, I'm just gonna bum-rush to the final chapter. -Kayura |
kayura sanada chapter 38 . 5/27/2012 Very. Well. Done. Yes. Very well done, indeed. DX I'm sorry, I just can't do it. It's two thirty in the morning and I am NOT going to work without finishing this, so my reviews are going to be short and lame. I'm sorry. Great job, though. Seriously. -Kayura |
