I don't generally like Susan, but I did in your story.

This is very good! I love how Susan's not the villian, you don't seek to punish her, it's very refreshing. You captured her character very well, and while you talked about "nylons and lipstick" it wasn't what your entire story was about. I liked the simplicity of it, and how it all came back to an apple tree. Good work!
