I thought this was very accurate, and I think you did a good job of portraying what the Doctor was most likely feeling, not what you wished would happen necessarily (although this might be what you wanted to happen...). Overall, this is a beautiful piece, and you definitely have a gift.

OK you just have some sort of mechanism that makes me cry.

I tried to write something fairly similar to this a while ago - before The Pandorica Opens was transmitted - with the Doctor feeling guilty and sad over Rory, and hating himself for falling for Amy, and Amy flirting, but it just transcended into a babble of meaningful conversations and like a hundred idential scenes where Amy pounces on him, he tries to resist but fails...yeah it was BAD. But this...! WOW!

Honestly, really, really well done. I'm trying to find something specific or constructive to say but the only thing that comes to mind is wow.

I LOVED THIS SENTENCE SO MUCH: "He finds himself in that moment, his heart having crashed to earth, and leads Amy back into the TARDIS."

AND THIS ONE: "And if he whispers, I will let you down always, he will be whispering I love you, I love you, I love you… and if he says I love you, he will be saying I will let you down, again, and again, and again, and again…"

Wowsa that was great. I'm normally not a fan of DocXCompanion fics, especially after the whole Rose v. Martha War, but there is just enough angst in here to make the whole ficlet legit. Your characterization of 11 is very believable, everything is. This is awesome.

This was...stunning. Breathtaking. Emotionally heart-rending. Take your pick. I loved it to bits. This could possibly be my favourite fanfic ever. The way everything flowed together was fantastic, the emotion in the story had me practically in tears. You, my friend, are a force to be reckoned with. :)

What I love the most about your stories is how you can add rhythm to it, and it flows oh-so-beautifully. Your fanfics are almost like poems, with the imagery and metaphors. I love your writing style.
