When I see when this is published, I can't help but admire your foresight! I never would've pegged Parker as Nate's protege (until they told us in S5).

I love Parker's interactions with Nate. She's, frankly, more than a little off with her conclusions, but he never bats an eye. That he's so comfortable with her, even when she's way off base, is spectacular. The whole thing with Sophie and Hardison is amusing, but oddly sincere of her. So, in short, I love the justification on my adoration of Parker(and, to a lesser extent, Nate. I love his brain. I love her character, period.)

I read this story when you first published it and I really enjoyed it. Now that I reread it (with Leverage being over :'(, ) I think you saw something about Parker that many people didn't at that time. And that's great!
I mean you wrote this story after season 2, where Parker was still learning human and social cues and said she could me a good if not great mastermind. Now fast forward 3 seasons later and that's what she is!And now when I read this story, I think about who she has become and love this story even more! Awesome story and again (now i'm sounding like a broken record) LOVE IT!

Brilliant. Just hilarious.
I especially liked "He doesn't need a girlfriend because he's got comfy clothes?", Parker setting Sophie and hardison up on a date, and Parker saying that her favorite part of being a team was dinner.
In case you haven't noticed, I'm just working my way through your stories, and they're really good!

A few of my favorite lines:

"She shrugs. "I used to eat alone. Now I don't have to. It's nice." - Aww.

"Sophie usually entertains Parker while they wait for the food to be ready—Parker can be inadvertently destructive if left to her own devices—such as by taking her up to Nate's room and rummaging through his closet, quizzing Parker on what each article of clothing says about a man." - LOL!

"She thinks about her plans for this dinner—which had tentatively involved trying to find out whether Nate could possibly have feelings for her—and decides that maybe there are different kinds of love, and maybe some of them are better than the romantic kind. Maybe this is what it feels like to have a family." - *heart* I also love that she eats cereal with Nate and shares her marshmallows with him.

"Eliot's real weakness on the job is that he's overprotective—it's too easy for him to lose sight of the con when one of his people is threatened."

"I set Hardison and Sophie up on a blind date together," she blurts, cringing at what she's now fairly certain was a bad decision. "They're there now." - LOL, oops!

i love Popa Smirf Nate. it's like Gibbs from NCIS. he takes care of his group and always looks out for the weakest member of the team. good oneshot,TBH

this, while i think is mostly OOC for parker and nate, would make an amazing multi-chap. with nate teaching parker, much to the annoyance of the rest of the team, until she's able to do something bigger, like run a con? this has amazing potential :)
