A wonderfully written story, I'm heartbroken for Leia all over again. Excellent job!

That was awesome. I think these could easily be Leia's thoughts; you really captured her pain and loss of innocence. Great writing here.

It was indeed a travesty. I liked reading later on that there were other survivors who happened to be off-world at the time, so at least Leia wasn't entirely alone. Not too many were left, however.

Nicely done, all around.

Beautiful. Especially liked the last line, her pain about losing her home.
