I wonder what'll happen once the antidote takes effect and removes the drug and terror from his system. I've always deeply identified with Kabuto's inner personal struggles, and even in this story here I do. I suffer ptsd, and that was so accurately written, having that shit happen to you again and how you'd feel after. You write like you have a strong empathy. I'm excited for more!

This kindness Hinata is showing Kabuto is very heart-warming. Even if he dislikes it, it's good for him. I love this story. I've been thinking about how Kabuto integrated back into Konoha recently. I've been thinking of writing about the fifteen year gap between his redemption and him running the orphanage with Urushi. If that really becomes an idea I want to follow, maybe you and I can team up and write it. I'd love to work with someone with your ability to move a plot along the way you do.

So I see it's been about...7 or 8 months since you updated...not quite a year. But I would love to see more! There aren't a whole lot of Kabuto centric stories out there, and this one caught my attention because Shikamaru was in it. (I'm still trying to decided if he or Kakashi is my favorite character.) I really like the take on Orochimaru rescuing Kabuto and now Ibiki being the "second Orochimaru." I'm looking forward though, to more of Kabuto and Shikamaru's strange friendship/not friendship.
