Wow. Just wow. Ending Ranma's story this way was... well, brave. Everything is handled so well and I found myself unable to stop reading. The only thing that I didn't like was that, in the end, Shampoo did got what she wanted, bet her mother is proud now. Is sad to think that Mousse will take care of the kid as if he was his own, which I was really, really hoping he was. I wonder what would Ranma think if he finds out about his son with Shampoo... And what happened to Ukyo and Ryoga? Hmm... I just gonna pretend they got together, because they are my favorite couple.

This story put me through SO MANY GODAMN emotions that I couldn’t even. Heck, I started texting my friend at 3am telling how TRIGGERED I got reading this story. I'm so GLAD that I stumbled across this fanfic, thank you for existing and using your talent to write this AMAZING adventure with one of my favorite ships.

Wow, this is one hell of a story. The whole 'Ranma gets kidnapped by the Amazons' concept is a little of a cliche, but you managed to make it so much darker thanks to Shampoo's behaviour and Ranma's resultant PTSD, and so much more by including both the Phoenix and Musk into the mix.

The ending with one last message from Mousse for Akane was expected, though handled extremely well. From Shampoo's early conversation with Lufa about what her choices would eventually come to, it was pretty obvious to me that this would happen. Not that this is a bad thing, it was a hell of a ride getting there and just knowing one detail didn't detract from the story in the slightest. It has me primed for the sequel that unfortunately hasn't been updated in quite some time.

I really like stories like this where Ranma shows some weakness and Akane supports him. Her early jealousy over Lufa made a lot of sense. There were points in the story, especially earlier on, where I'd wondered if Ranma was really still stuck in the pit and dreaming/hallucinating his rescue. Likewise after Perfume's rescue, rather than his small hallucination of running away it could have continued on that the Musk boys rescuing him wasn't real either. The adventure/romance tags implied nothing so dark would happen, but still plenty dark enough things DID happen.

All in all, fantastic and saved as a favourite. Thank you for writing this.

Really frikin amazing. Loved how you said Sao Pu(?) "bastardization" name is . Make more stories,but I would find it cool if you made a story of some normal American kid,going to high school and ,somehow(I'll leave how it happens to you)gets cursed by Nyanniichuan(By the way,that means that the character will have to be a ).AND THEEEEN he(or she) has to try and live with their curse while balancing a social life. Throw in a crush and it's perfect. Good luck :)

You did a nice job with the names and personalities, but I'm disappointed that you broke canon to do so. Did you forget that the whole reason Herb got cursed in the first place was because his father, the king, set him up for an arranged marriage. At the very least, Herb's father should be alive, and Herb's wife should be with him.

By the way, why were the other Musk so impressed by Ranma's curse? Has Herb managed to keep his own curse secret from them? I don't see how he could with how Jusenkyo victims become water magnets.

The Amazons did think the Musk were wiped out, but Cologne and Shampoo know the truth and should have reported the news to the village by now. They may be surprised that Ranma managed to round them up, but they shouldn't be surprised that they still exist.

Hmm, a repentant Saffron as an ally against the Amazons. I like it. He should listen to Ranma about their dangerous special attacks, though. Lufa could probably describe most of those techniques and tips to fighting them.

Saffron is absolutely right in that you don't tell Ranma Saotome what to do. A lot of the chaos around him (fighting the arranged engagements and Kiss of Marriage, getting in fights with several other rivals, Happosai's attempts at revenge, hiding from his mother) is caused by people attempting to do just that.

Well, Ranma may not court cougars, but the same thing isn't true of Akane. I've always found it somewhat creepy that a 16 year old schoolgirl had a crush on a man who's got to be at least 30 considering how long he's been a doctor. Dr. Tofu's crush on 19 year old Kasumi comes close to crossing the line as it is.

By the way, isn't Ranma 17 by now? It has been a full year since he first met Shampoo.

These Amazons don't know much about balanced diets. Ranma's going to develop scurvy or some other kind of vitamin deficiency disease if this keeps up.

Wow. This is the best Ranma fanfic I have ever read. Ranma and Akane, for me, are one of the greateast couples in anime history (and I just couldn't understand all the hate Akane's getting from youtube comments).Also, I just want to say I absolutely hate Shampoo in the anime series, and you writing this sort of ending made me hate her even more though this is just fanfic.

Like the others, I look forward to Decode II. I know, by this time, you have at the very least cemented your plot and twists and whatnot (I'll have to check later if a Decode II is already in existence). Still, a part of me wishes that Decode's ending is another carefully concocted lie from Shampoo and Cologne. I wish.
