This is utter brilliance! You have Ron's voice so perfectly I thought I was in his head, his funny awkwardness, the way he talks, and yes Hermione DOES have that exasperated smile just for him! Please write more :)

that was very natural, well-written, and in character the entire time. i really loved this! i feel like it might be best as a stand-alone one shot though - adding chapters would take a little of the punch out of this story, in my opinion, but i'd love to see more of your work either way

I loved the nerves that showed in the dialogue. Oh, how sad that he wasn't able to try to follow-up their dance later and how he planned.

I am curious if your 2nd chapter would be continuing or the same, but from Hermione's point of view; I'd love to see what she was thinking during the dance.
