Very nice. The show glossed over Miramanee's death shamefully, making Kirk more emotional over Rayna the android than the woman who was his wife. It's good to see someone else address that little issue.

This is a good conclusion to the story of that particular episode, a conclusion that I always felt was missing.

I like how you grant the reader insight to all of them to a degree, even tough this is a fairly short text.

And I like the fact that you picked an idea that has not been explored quite as often as others

I am a desperate Spock-obsessed 19 year old who, at the moment, feels like she is from the wrong time period. You had me at "this was written in the 80s" I want the old stuff. Actually, I want the really old stuff, the original fanzine stories, but I can't have those, so ffnet will have to suffice. Because what I want most of all is Spock. (I finished the last ep of TOS today. I kind of in withdrawal...)

Gorgeous characterization, this, and a lovely and fitting ending to that episode which needed closure so badly. I truly enjoyed this; it could have come straight from the script and finding such a gem here on is rare and wonderful.

Flawless. I have never read a fanfiction where the characters were so perfectly portrayed. This could have came right off the script, and should have. Where were you in the 1960's when Roddenberry needed you? The lines were spot-on, the mood amazing. I can't think of a single thing to critique!
