I loved this story, but very sad :(

Oh.. My.. Gosh.. Did that really just happen?.. From what Im gathering, you wrote this before MJ came out, correct? This story is so tragic, so heart-wrenchingly sad, that I wouldve been SO disappointed if MJ ended like this.. Dont get me wrong, your writing style and this stoy itself is so.. so powerful, and fantastic, but it wouldve been such an unhappy ending if Katniss, the girl who had to deal with everything, the girl who had to go through the Hunger Gamws twice, the girl who learned of death and watched one too many die, the girl who carried too much on her shoulers, the girl who had finally found love, the girl who grew up much too fast, lost that lover, the one who gave her hope and SO MUCH MORE. So, in short, what does this all yappering mean? Amazing story. Tragic ending. Powerful. Love it.

This might've been the most depressing I read today. You absolutely killed me with Peeta's torture and Katniss's methods of "coping." Then finally when they find him, he's made into Avox; that's just...unbelievable yet tragic. It makes sense. Heart-breaking though.

Overall, very well-written. You had amazing words and sentences.

Especially this one: "It took the piercing pain in my chest and the cold feeling spreading through my limbs to tell that I was very much awake."

Three words: haunting, disturbing, fantastic.

The story conveyed much with so few words. I liked the eerie darkness of this ending; I could imagine the series ending like this, if Collins had written it for a more mature audience and decided to conclude it on a more 1984esque note. It is also refreshing to read something this somber when many other stories are so unrealistically light for a war.

Oh wow, this was really gripping and intense. Your writing style was beautiful. Well done!
