Heh, I kinda love the flashback to Clay and Jensen's first meeting

My favourite line of the whole thing - 'It had been the ugliest, most idiotic thing he'd ever seen, he had absolutely no idea
where Jensen had found it, and it immediately went on the dashboard.'

And I really liked the scene between Pooch and his wife

I was quite glad for the 'sweet sappy' ending (as you put it), 'cause for a moment, I thought you were going to kill him off :)
