I liked this story. That episode was one of my favorites.

What a beautiful flashback to "Water". You've captured the differences between Devon and Danziger very nicely. I love how you attribute John's will to go on with his love for his daughter. The mention of True's birthday passing by unnoticed by others made me sad but it probably wouldn't occur to John or True that a celebration was allowed. Very touching the introduction of the life expectancy of male migrant workers on the Stations.
