Seriously? Harry loses his wizard magic and becomes a Muggle? No offence, but the ending wasn't exactly satisfactory. Anyway, story probably deserves a A or E. (Acceptable or Exceeds Expectations.) ()

I have to say discovering what happens makes Hermione's actions incredibly cruel. What a b*tch! First she threatens not to keep his secret, then she badgers him into studying for exams that are literally of no use to him. Why does she always think she's so clever and always right? She doesn't offer any other option, just criticizes what must be an incredibly difficult decision on his part.

I just finished re-reading this. I first read it years ago. For being written before OOTP, it was very well done. I really liked Ginny's personality and that she was strong and talented. Many stories written so long ago have her as a passive stand in for Hermione. I'm not a huge fan of Hermione/Ron, but it was well done. I still think the ending is one of the biggest twists in fan fiction. Harry's reaction as well as his attitude towards Hermione at the end are so well done.

I really enjoyed this story! I know it's fairly old so I don't know if/when you'll see this comment but I still wanted to give some feedback. For what little canon info you had to go on when writing this, it is really great! I love that Harry was able to defeat Voldemort without being super!Harry and that it still involved a major sacrifice on his part. I also enjoyed Ginny's characterization and how she didn't just let Harry run the show (which is how she's sometimes portrayed). Thank you for sharing this work!
