Also, Zuko and Toph. Blind leading the blind, literally! Ha! And being BAMFs while doing it. Love this powerhouse. Now that they're done with Zuko's angst, I'd expect for these two to be reigning terro- err, I mean bromancing their way into palace life. XD

The concepts of your Blind!Zuko were pretty amazing, especially the reading bit. Kudos!

This is great. I like stories where Zuko has limited vision in his left eye (not because I'm mean to him, but because it means that Zuko became awesome even with a disability). And I know he cries with both eyes in the cartoons, but in my head, he can only tear up in his uninjured eye. Really liked that you went farther and made him completely blind and still Fire Lord.

I swear, this story is THE BEST EVER! I LOVE the idea of Zuko being blind and learning to cope with it like he did wth everything else in his life. Plus, I kinda had planned on writign my own Zuko-becomes-blind fic. But since you're doing a better job than I woulda, I'll pass and just read this instead.
PS. Zuko's hearing is WAY better than most people's. Check the part of canon where the pirates blow up his ship in Book 1 if you don't believe me.

Stories about characters suddenly becoming disabled are always quite interesting to read. You did a good job balancing the despair for the lost ability with the benefits of the newly gained ability. You also did a nice job of leaving the ending open to some speculation and potential other stories branching from this. Thank you for writing and posting this!

I have only said this once before, but if there was a favorites list for my favorites list this would be on it. Just wow. I don't have the words to describe how amazing this story is. So just thank you for writing it. I just... wow this is amazing.

It's a good stopping point, but I hope this isn't the end of the story. I'd like to see Katara and Zuko become closer and see if Katara can heal him. I'd also be interested in more about how Zuko and Toph adapt to palace life.

I like the direction the story is going, as bad as I feel for Zuko and Katara. I feel like it better captures the harsh realities of life.
