illuminio chapter 7 . 12/24/2015 Very unrealistic. You see, blood magic is a big no-no. Why Alistair had never used any good old Smiting on the increasingly possesed man AND his armor? That's what the Templairs DO. Why didn't he try to do it, when it became apparent, that the Warden is gone? Because plot needed such developments, yeah. Doesn't make it better. |
Vector 71 chapter 6 . 5/31/2013 I enjoyed reading through Leliana's eyes. To get the reactions of his party in her POV was interesting. You've done an excellent job at showing us how they are reacting to the change in Will and still keeping the story in the DA timeline. Can't believe there is only one more to read! Well done! |
Vector 71 chapter 5 . 5/28/2013 Loved the tension between Will & Alistair. Thought the description of what was going on with the armor and the hermit was spot on. I do enjoy your Morigan too. I love that she sees what is happening and has her own justification for it. Well done! |
Vector 71 chapter 4 . 5/27/2013 Wonderful description of the dangers contained within the gloves. I can only imagine what the helmet and armor would be able to do to the wearer. Morrigan is smart to be suspicious and it makes sense that she would notice something off in Will. I hope that the pieces do not talk to her as well. Would like Alistair to also notice the change - but I think his part in this is stil to come. Great chapter! |
Vector 71 chapter 3 . 5/25/2013 I really love your description of Morrigan! She's one of my favorite characters in DA and you nailed her right on! The memory of Flemeth's teachings and her response to the demon were described wonderfully! I'm a little concerned for Will and the evil that is in the helmet. I think Alistair is right not to trust the helm. Looking forward to the next chapter! |
Vector 71 chapter 2 . 5/24/2013 Loved the battle scene! And you really do the characters justice! I can hear their voices in the words you write. Really well done! Looking forward to chapter 3! |
Vector 71 chapter 1 . 5/23/2013 Nice start! I like all of the details. I can picture the Dalish camp and what all the companions are up to. Looking forward to reading the next chapter! |
Adienath chapter 7 . 3/12/2013 That was amazing! The way you almost gave the armour its own personality was brilliant, especially as it slowly took over Will... And the reactions of his companions was perfect, particularly where morrigans curiosity contrasted with Alistair and lellianas worry for him! Also loved the descriptions throughout the piece, truly well done. '...and the last thing he saw with his unvisored eyes was the two women before him.' - excellent, if evil, way to end it :-) maybe you should write the next major piece you and setrus work on, and get him to edit it :P |
Bebus chapter 7 . 1/24/2013 Wow, what a story! It's an incredibly imaginative take on the armour, and I love it - the Dragon Age universe is full of interesting lore and artefacts, having one of them destroy the group like that... such a wonderful idea! I thought you caught the characters incredibly well. The three companions all reacted to Will's descent very believably - I especially loved Morrigan's fascination contrasted against the other two. And I got a really good sense of Will as a character in a short amount of time, making the whole scenario even more tragic. Excellent, well written story! |
Wolfox6 chapter 7 . 6/23/2011 Oh... Pure evil... I'm almost speechless with awe. My hat is off to you, m'lady. You are a goddess. O.O |
Wolfox6 chapter 6 . 6/23/2011 Wow. O.O I cannot *wait* to see if a Skyrim Dragon inspires you to write something as powerful as this battle...(only four more months to go) Woot! Very telling, Will's succumbing to the darkness. Only Ancient Evil could break the oath of a Cousland. Good on Leliana for not giving up. Amazing! |
Wolfox6 chapter 5 . 6/23/2011 Very intense chapter...though I loved every line, this: "Alistair. Leliana. Morrigan. Brute strength, lethal blades and frozen enchantment." was just sublime... I truly enjoy how you've written of Alistair. Excellent! |
Wolfox6 chapter 4 . 6/23/2011 "The power rippled over the metal when he touched it, flowing over his hand like honey; smooth and tangible." Wow...that was awesome, especially in the light of how that power came to be! Huh. To think I always gave the armour to Sten (he just looked so darn cute in it, and it suited his voice!). From now on, it's gonna be sold to the lowest bidder! Really! O.O Fantastic. |
Wolfox6 chapter 3 . 6/23/2011 All round great chapter. The dark musings of Morrigan, recalling Flemeth's lessons, the ominous helm...and Alistair's reaction. Well done! |
Wolfox6 chapter 2 . 6/23/2011 I *love* this. First the hulking Ogre, and now the ominous Revenant. I still remember the first meeting with one of those things...rogue archer stands waaayyyy back and tosses of a shattershot; Revenant pulls companions down and RUNS to rogue...rogue then runs around in circles for about three minutes waiting for companions to get back on their feet...ahhhh...the good ol' days. Too bad DA2 didn't have such wonderous memories! Nicely done battle, and wonderful description of the Forest. |
