Dude. It’s only chapter two and I’m hooked with tears I won’t let fall. Beautiful writing style. The emotion is so strong through the experience of just reading.

After reading the chapter before this, I realized I actually could not go to sleep without reading about them making up. Not all of the feelings I get from this are pleasant and that makes reading kind of hard at times but I think that's just the time of story this is. Healing isn't easy and neither are the stories about it. This is really good, though. Especially when Raph was misunderstood and then ended up apologizing. Really, his pov is so wonderful. Wait… does this mean he's my favorite character? When did that happen? B-but Mikey's been my favorite character for twelve years! *cries*

Awesome fic. A very in depth what if. It shows what a crisis can do to shape character and family dynamics. All I can think to say to Raph is, what would he say if one of his brothers was in his position? Especially Leo?
Anyway, great!

It's a bit confusing when you suddenly change point of view. You might want to consider utting something in to warn the reader.

You have to love April and Raphael. I dunno, ship them or not, there was always some spark between them. Whether you call it an uncanny understanding or just the stubborn woman's way around the hot-headed mutant, there is something special between the two of them. :D I can't wait to check out the sequel to this. I'm so glad you're continuing it. I'm so happy to have gotten the chance to spend my day reading this fabulous story. You did a great job with the characters and made my heart melt and hurt more than a few times over the course of chapters. I love your writing and hope to see much more of it in the future. Consider you not only on my fav list, but hopefully as a fellow fan and writer and friend.

Oh, man, I loved that last paragraph. Leo is under so much stress and pressure, the others have no idea what he has to shoulder - even their own expectations of him - to remain their shield, their rock and never to crumble or show weakness - but he is mortal as are they. And the unfairness of what he shoulders is staggering.
