This was amazing!

I love this! Poor Rex though...

As sad as this was, it was beautifully written and in some ways I like this version of Rex's post-Event wandering better than the show's (because seriously, if Rex was 15 five years after the Event but still had time to get involved with Quarry and the others before Providence then how old was he when he joined Providence it doesn't make sense and is Abysus anywhere near Hong Kong and aargh).

Sorry, rambling. But in all honesty this was a great oneshot!

Oh my god, oh my god, I absolutely love this origin story! Your Rex and Six are amazing, and I absolutely loved the family that 'adopted' him! I'd love to read more of your work in the GenRex universe! (I actually plan on stalking your profile to see if you have any more haha)

Great fic! I like this take on Rex's origin before Providence, and I could see this as being canon...had they done anything more than a paper-cut lol (I'm kinda pissed that the show still didn't cover that, though) I like that bit at the end about Six maybe leaving Rex elsewhere.

I liked it! Even if this is only a fanfic, I'm going to imagine this is what happened before Rex actually met Six. If you ever finish your other fanfics(like that Collared one XD), this would be an awesome story to expand into a full-blown story!
