This was a good chapter and the fight was enjoyable to read. My only confusion is the explanation on the forging technique you described, the reason Japan had to develop such techniques was because it's iron was of poor quality and if the iron bar that Naruto created is as pure as you've written then that process could have a detrimental effect. Granted that world runs on anime logic so I'm probably overthinking it lol.

Hmmm, there's a few things I disliked in this chapter I'll list them by number.
1: The time skips, I was hoping to see how you handled Naruto school life especially since he failed the academy 3 times in canon I believe (it could also have been 6 there's a annoying inconsistency). It would have been interesting to see how you'd have handled that.
2: No mention of Shurikenjutsu or other weapons training, with his bloodline you missed a great opportunity to get another one over Sasuke.
3: Naruto and Ino fight scene was a odd one, especially since school was still going on and I have a hard time seeing Iruka letting them have a fight when there's still stuff to go over (He's a great teacher like that).
4: Naruto basically going Super Saiyan, granted I figured you were going for something like Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach with his eyepatch but still it felt a bit silly. It basically means he can't do a stealth mission at full power (granted Naruto and stealth don't really go well together anyway lol).

Now as Kenpachi Zaraki is my all time favorite character number four isn't all that bad. I am curious on why Naruto doesn't have weights on as well though.
I never liked Sasuke he was way too emo and a fuckin traitor so I was never happy about his "redemption". Fuck he should have been executed.

i think saying he's got so much iron in his blood is kinda silly you can only tolerate so much. also clearly he cannot turn his skin to iron like kakuzu does he only hardens it to a similar level. this really doesn't have anything to do w/ iron at all it's skin, bones, tissue, etc. naruto's explanation reminds me of luke cage in marvel who's skin is nearly impenetrable. i'm just not seeing the iron connection here.

Even though this is 10 years old I have to say this is a good start, can't wait to see how he utilizes his bloodline.

The only confusing thing for me is, how can Sasuke get the highest grade for ninjutsu as your test was shown? They only had to do the academy three and had to successfully do them. I can see Naruto not getting it since he did 30 rather than 3. But there's just so little way to do better or worse with those 3 Jutsu than pass or fail.

I highly doubt Sasuke was the only guy to properly do the academy 3 and make the exact number of clones required.

If there'd been an extra credit section or something to show off other Jutsu, I'd get it. But unlike the other areas, the ninjutsu test here, doing the academy 3, really is a pass fail. I doubt Sasuke did the hinge better than Naruto for instance. Just seems weird for such a basic Jutsu test to have a highest ranking category.

well that was an amazing chapter and i know it's on hiatus now but still want more.

I'm liking the story so far. My only complaints are the lack of sealing knowledge Naruto should have received from his Uzumaki side when he got the familiy scroll, how there's no mention of Naruto's caretaker, who has shinobi knowledge and trainning, teaching him any shinobi skills and the lack of original bloodline or battle techniques created by Naruto.
If your stuck how about making a story were Naruto has Lee Syaron's powers? Literally noone has written a story like that. Go check NarutoxCard Captor Sakura Crossovers to see what I mean.
