Oh wow, huge update! First off, Ladd vs Claire. I'll admit, it made be visibly cringe. Dare I say, poor Ladd? Except, not really, as he's trying to kill Claire. Still, dear lord that sounds painful.

Then this latest arc. It's always been a bit touchy thinking about Claire and Immortality. He's the type, I believe, who would never voluntarily choose it, because he is already so confident in his own abilities that drinking an elixer would just be cheating. But this mysterious awakening of immortality? Intriguing (honestly not surprising to think he just willed it upon himself, Mr. Center-of-the World). But yeah, seeing Claire as actually human and (for a time) mortal? Both strange and something I've really wanted to read.

No! Claire without Chane? Cannot fathom. Quick! Find Maiza and remedy this! (or, you know, however you plan to let the story go _;)

Omg, first, thanks so much for linking me to this fic! I mistakenly over-looked it!

Anyway, I love everything here! The way it was written, the jumping around, the characters and aaahhh the dialogue were the best parts! Haha, especially Graham's.

I hope you write more! :)

So far, at least, this fic is really great. The style of writing and the way the stories are tied together reminds me of the original novels, and I think the characters were captured well. In my head, some of this is now canon. I can't wait to see more!
