This story is absolutely brilliant. I was laughing out loud the whole time. Ethan being an idiot, Madison having a use only when she is around Ethan, all the plot devices and things that are never mentioned again except when it's convinient, like Scott's asthma, everything was just great. I know it's been like 8 years so you are most definitely wont be updating this but I wish you would. This makes me want the children's book versions of other PS4 games like Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human, Until Dawn, Life is Strange etc. I kinda want to write them but I wouldnt want to steal your idea.
PS: Reading this story I was very happy. But figuring you wont continue made me very sad.

Oh wow, this story is outstanding! I can't tell you how much I loved this story... because seriously, who wouldn't laugh at a children's version of a murder, crime, suspenseful and depressing video game? NOW I KNOW that helping people is good, drugs are bad, vegetables are good, guns are bad, ect. ect...
BY FAR the Jayden and Blake scenes are the best. I'm constantly laughing at every sentence (each one gets funnier and funnier, I swear). Jayden is my FAVORITE character.
I actually do like Ethan, but that probably has something to do with my older brother having the same name. I admit there area lot of those parts where I was like WTF, MARS!?
Seriously though, you HAVE to continue this, I've been using this story to introduce Heavy Rain to y friends, aside from the fact that it is AWESOME. PLEASE UPDATE I'M BEGGING YOU!

Well, I must say firstly, I am not a kid but I do behave like one most of the time, so. I hope it is okay that I read your story when you only invited kids to do so. Secondly, I know not of this 'Heavy Rain ' but feel now that I know Ethan personally and he is an idiot. Truly rivetting and thoroughly entertaining.

This is really funny! I liked the fact that you mentioned Norman's sole reason for not shooting Nathaniel was bc everything happened too fast, not bc he was trying to keep a cool head, lol. I remember the 1st time I played that scene, I had put the controller aside bc I thought we were in the cutscene, but obviously that wasn't the case, so I was too late to grab the controller and shoot Nathaniel, haha. I esp. like Norman's scenes in the story, bc well, I like Norman ;) and your repeated mentions of Blake and Norman wanting to be friends is awesome :D

I always thought Blake was checking Facebook on that PC, especially when he told Norman he was 'busy' and to come back later.

This is genius, by the way. I'm cracking up every other line...Ethan being an idiot, Jayden being sad because he'd never been in love and didn't know what holding hands felt like...any time Ash appears EVER...just brilliant

Omfg... Yessss! This is gold! All the nitpicky inconsistencies of Heavy Rain brought to light in the form of a "children's book"! And to be honest, I myself never played Heavy Rain, but I watched my brother play it for hours ! I basically saw him play the whole thing through. ( Norman was my favorite character; I have to agree that Ethan was an idiot; and the fact that Shelby was the killer was both expected and unexpected at the same time xD ) It was easily the most emotional game ever. I think I cried. I don't remember anymore LOL. But all that aside: please, please continue this! The Norman and Blake parts are my favorite! ( I guess I'll always be biased to that man x3 ) great job ;D

Ahahaha! This is comedy gold! Mister Frodo, why would you want to make the chapters shorter? Don't, I say! There isn't any one thing I could pick up and say is brilliant because every line is epic! xD

And thank you for the quick update. Very, very grateful! :) I thoroughly enjoy the fic. The only think you could probably do is insert those horizontal lines to divide the perspective of characters. Makes for easier reading. Just a suggestion, though.

I think every author is mortally afraid of producing sub-standard work. Pretty sure it haunts us all in our dreams. Worry not, I say! The story is hilarious and that's all that counts. :)

xD Where were you? I was so glad when saw the "updated" in my email! It was the first time I went there in months and what a wonderful surprise. 3 After all, this was the fanfic that got me to join and this is actually my first review here, even though I've sighned up months ago :)

Anyways, brilliant! I was kinda sad because I was expecting you to mention the egg making with Scott ( and the camera pointing at Ethan's face during the tunnel part, because Ethan is an idiot xD

Oh my gosh, I don't think I've ever laughed this hard at a fic before, I was replaying heavy rain today and decided to search for some fics for it and found this beauty, I have not stopped laughing since! I love how you're also a fan of the game but still manage to poke fun at it, although I would have loved if you could have mentioned about Grace picking the kids up from school even though it's a Saturday in chapter one, but other than that this story is stellar! Please continue with this fic, it's one of the funniest ones I've ever read!
