PLEASE say Harry will grow up to side with Tom and be just as Dark!

Children at an under-founded, and therefor also understaffed orphanage, in the middle of a war when even food is scarce WILL be assholes.

And Harry's response to bullies or people being rough is to run, or curl up and take it. Which is clear bully-material.

Add to that that he WILL at some point show accidental magic, which will make everyone think he's the same as Tom... and that is without mentioning how many orphanages (maybe most) back then were run by supersticious nuns... which may well throw an exorsist at him... (a traumatizing experience even for an adult. People have actually been killed in exorsisms, because they're so violent.)

I will be EXTREMELY suprised if he doesn't grow up to hate muggels.

And with him being a Potter, a recogbized pureblood family, he may actually believe in the pureblood propaganda. Although if he does, he'll likely be sure Tom also is pureblood, and just doesn't know it.

In that setting, with them growing up together, they will guaranteed get an 'us against the world' attitude.

What I am REALLY curious about is wheither you'll make Tom a Sociopath or a Psychopath.

(A sociopath CAN love...it rarely happens, and never more than maaaaybe 2 or 3 people over an entire life, rarely even one. But it -could- happen.

While a psychopath is incapable of love, and have shallow emotions.

Both, when grown up like Tom, are prone to anger fits and some SERIOUSLY amoral behavior and lack of ability to understand right from wrong. Lol

Come to think of it... Harry have zero morals too. When all you learn is that everything you do is wrong, then you do not understand good vs bad either. He adopted all his morals from mainly Ron, aka, his FIRST friend...which is now Tom.)

awesome start! all of your time travel writing made sense (sometimes stories can be good but the set up is bad, I don’t think you encountered that problem) and your introduction of tom and your writing of harry was wonderful

You have kept Tom and Harry SO EXCELLENTLY IN CHARACTER! So many people jump into giving Tom more compassionate qualities as soon as he meets Harry when in reality this should take months to begin any slight change! LOVE YOUR WORK SO MUCH

I dont understand why voldy dont take revange on harry so far... I mean it seem that the only "accidentally magic" he can make is crucio or explote... I am sure i am more original than him, even in a muggle way of "justice" well whatever...

It's brilliant! Continue it please. I hope Harry would get through Tom somehow. Tom is only heartless because he was somehow a product of a love potion. I wish Harry is an exception. Maybe having a friend will change him.
