A truly beautiful piece. I usually don't enjoy Avatar fanfiction very much, but this is just so perfect. So much of your work is. It is always such a nice break from the shipping fics or from the poorly written, flat portrayals you see so often in this fandom - in any fandom, really (although I'm not really one to talk.) I really think that Toph is an under-appreciated character. Superb work.

A very short sweet piece. I like your portrayal of the way Toph views color. The way you write her wistfulness and her strength works together very well. It was a nice insight into both the little girl side of her and the tough brawler.
