This story, while slightly confusing, (although it wouldn't have been half as good without its suspense) is truly a favorite of mine.

hey love this story it works really well as a stand alone piece but at the same time wouldlvoe to know more background story maybe do same story from morgan pov showing him worrying over his decision the previous friday and worried/indignant about JJ anger towards him etc and even convo at ned after drops her bombshell of prentiss reid comforting morgan lol kinda have it all written out my head :S but you woud do such a better job anyways back to this story very well paced, excelelnt twist good characterization and nice little touches likes hotch's pain at giving JJ leave etc good work :)

I think I forgot to submit actual feedback on this incredible piece. My bad. In any case, it's simply sublime.

Very few people have ever written pissed off JJ and then even less with the sense of seething pain that you did. You know that something is off with her, but the what is out of arms reach the whole story - until it isn't and you then wish it still were. The truth is poignant and gut-wrenching. And suddenly her anger just feels all the deeper because you've written it so its as much about anger at herself for putting herself in this situation as it is anger at Morgan for his recklessness.

Every bit of this is pitch-perfect, but the talk at the end with Garcia is especially riveting.

Bravo!

This was just so amazingly well written it made you want to cry for JJ, I'm glad you decided to post it even though it was so heart wrenching!
