oakleaf chapter 1 . 5/1/2012 The sheer amount of feeling in this story is astounding. I lived the way you gad the almost-repetition. Well done on an amazing story. |
Silvara chapter 1 . 3/27/2012 Just so you know, before I gather enough neurons to produce a serious critique, "Brain Damages" is everything that I could wish to find in a ZeLink fanfiction settled in Ocarina of Times. This story in itself is par of what I always considered solid enough to be canon, and seeing that someone have brought out these themes so skillfully is as much a pleasure to read as it is handy as a reference for me when I write, or talk of my headcanon. In a fewer words, if you don't mind the term, Brain Damages has been a nerdgasm. X) Thank you for making me, and every luck people who read this, explore this real, realist and yet romanced psychological fairytale. I have to congratulate you for the conclusion too. I couldn't have found a better way to bring closure to the odyssey you described. Yet, I may be a little frustrated by its form, because this rich self-sufficient one-shot still allow the opportunity of more exploration in further, way shorter chapters exploring the Impa's and Malon's point of view. Now, I can only wait to find a fanfiction where Zelda(or Sheik) learns or travel to Termina, because I think there is great potential for Link's character development in that possibility. |
No Longer Writing FFs chapter 1 . 3/15/2012 Incredible. You captured the dark part of OoT so nicely. The writing flows as well, and I felt so engaged. Thank you do much for sharing! |

gaylordgator chapter 1 . 6/15/2011 this is a really amazing story. it has so much emotion in it. i found myself feeling sad, the kind where you see something that is heartbreakingly true. maybe it's only me looking to deeply but i saw a message in the story that i liked. 3 it was truly beautiful. |
ElectraGoob chapter 1 . 3/19/2011 This was really cool. It was not the usual ZeLink fluff.. which is good. I'm glad you wrote this. thanx! |
Kamulyn chapter 1 . 9/14/2010 Nice story. Ive thought about that before, like the whole separate minds, but this is the first story Ive seen about something like this. Nicely done! |
Ze Dybbuk chapter 1 . 7/5/2010 Absolutely fascinating. The descriptions are the real stingers in this piece; hauntingly believable on a deep level. Your story asks a lot of very good, very big, and very impossible questions, and that's a big part of my personal draw to it. I would have liked to have seen some more character growth in Zelda by the time the story had ended, but on second thought the lack of it may have been part of the point. This is a very intelligent, evolved writing style, and I am eager to see what else you can do! |
somayedoc chapter 1 . 5/30/2010 great post, though i was wondering if you could make another one and give a definite end to the story. |
NinjaSheik chapter 1 . 5/19/2010 BEAUTIFUL~! |
TheSoupDragon chapter 1 . 5/19/2010 Very interesting... you capture the side the games never talk about really well. I mean, they were just children, surely there must have been some impact on their sanity? It's a fantastic piece~ :3 |
