Again, there were so many parts I loved. The idea of Felipe cursing at Diego cracks me up for a reason difficult to explain. Your Seargant Mendoza is so loveable (the original one was, too, but it took a while to take to him; yours is adorable right from the start). I also like who you dealed with Victoria - being a close childhood friend rather than a ditz swooning over a mysterious stranger.

I loved the interactions between the three brothers in any combination. Gilberto standing in Diego's shadow yet never holding any grudges against Diego... That was hard to swallow. As was seeing Diego unable to keep his facade of strength. And don't even get me started on the last part about Gilberto constantly bullying Felipe. I can't help but strongly want to see the two of them slowly, with setbacks, getting friendlier with each other.

I'd really like to know more about the confession Felipe wrote about Gilberto and about the answer he got. (And, on that note, I'm very happy you explained the kitten incident later!)

Another wonderful story/chapter in the saga. I'm really getting into this alternate world that you have created. The part about Zafira being with Gilberto instead of Diego was rather intriguing.

It's almost heartbreaking in the way that Diego and his family are dealing with his illness, the frustrations, the anger of helplessness that such comes with such a tragedy.

I think the same as ThereseZ and Katta, I never thought I could love a story with so much Felipe in it, or that I could hope for more scenes with him and Diego or Gilberto, you're completely turning my likes in this universe.

Now that I now how you're treating the release of this fics, and knowing there's a third part ahead, I find this story came to a good end. With Gilberto excusing himself for not being there and for once Alejandro not getting upset about that fact.

I'm already looking forward for your next release. Like ThereseZ said, you've created something addictive, which I hope can last for a long time (but you're the one with the muse so I know I can't push)

You're very quickly turning Gilberto into my favourite character, which is certainly unexpected! Also, while I'm not normally into child!Felipe fics, the dynamics here make me wish for more chapters from the early stages of Felipe's and Diego's friendship. Especially in this universe, with Gilberto to stir things up! (That's not a demand for such chapters, btw. Your story takes you where it takes you. But if you were to write such chapters, they'd be utterly welcome.)

I like how you've worked Sir Edmund, Julian and Zafira into the story. This chapter also gives good insight into the relationship between Diego and Gilberto and the reason they went home. It's very well done yet again, Therrae.

If there's one conclusion I can make after reading this chapter is that you can really describe angst in all its intensity. The last part was very sad to read, it showed all of Diego's weakness and dispair, like he was ine step away from completely breaking but he didn't for Gilberto's sake.

The way you've described the twins relation, is for me, wonderful. Each brother have the capacity of truly comprehend the other to the point of leaving everything else behind.

The twist about Zafira it was very surprinsing to me, I didn't even had her in mind in this story. All in all, it was a different chapter, a different scenario, but it worked perfectly. I imagine there's only one more chapter to go now.

I agree with senselesswords that this may well be your best chapter so far, and I'll echo senseless' question: is this story going to be epic or is it an epic story series? Of course, you know that either way I'll be happy :)

Well, now you've made me cry. That conversation with Victoria had me sobbing so much I had difficulty reading the rest (but of course I couldn't wait). Thank you for another beautiful chapter!

By far this has been one of the best chapters of your stories, at least it felt to me like one. The length was perfect to describe the whole situation. I like the way you're presenting everything to us, at first Diego was the pillar of strength and acted as if everything was ok, like he was still as healthy as before, but now your showing us what it's really like for him, giving us the chance to fully understand the other characters around him as they bring him support or try to struggle through the situation. I also like the way you're handling Victoria's role in this, given that Diego is no longer the her to the family and Zorro is another man.

I have one question though, which you may no answer for the plot sake, but when you said you pretend to make something epic, you where referring to this particular story "fiesta" or as a saga. I ask given the fact that the actual fiesta is over now.

You portrayed very well Alejandro's tension and concern, as well as the rest of the household. I could even sense Gilberto' apprehension in this too, even though it was only his letter present.

Again, excellent chapter, I only wish the information could come in much bigger amounts, but I know that's the idea of the story.
