THEM! There was so much more there going on and I loved that sort of depth in these characters, and the comparison of France and Finland. The smoke at the end was a nice touch too.

This story is very vague in the details of the emotional baggage but it so clearly implies iemtional baggage that it doesn't need to be emphasised because the whole fic circles Sweden's sadness and some part of France willing to salvage him, maybe love?

This is really good. You break my heart, but you make me like it. _ I totally ship these two, now. :3 I love the chemistry between them. I really like how Sweden feels guilty, even though he doesn't necessarily have to be. I like how he finds it hard to let go and open up, because that's so IC for him. And just awesome in general. I like that France knows when not to push it, but puts himself out there at the end anyways. The fic is lovely.
