s9ecm75lhrvsap chapter 10 . 5/30/2019 "The name 'heyyu' is not present in my database…could I have another one please?" Cute, very cute :) Savannah's depiction is great as well. I'm hoping against hope that the author will have mercy and bring the story branches to a satisfactory conclusion. |

Luke777 chapter 10 . 11/21/2011 Yet another great story from you. It's a pity that it somehow ends before the "big battle" that is being prepared, since it doesn't look like this side-story will still be updated. But never mind, I had a great reading time anyway… I loved how you showed the worries of the fresh parents, John and Cameron. Things that were rather obvious before get complicated now, since they're not only responsible for themselves, but also for this small creature. Other scenes I really appreciated were the ones where you showed the leading qualities of Cameron. The good mixture between severity and understanding really made her a good chief for her troupe. And once again, I really liked Amy as a character. Her jealousy regarding the Connors' new child was quite interesting for a machine! But it showed also, that even while being one of the strongest machines that exist, her well developed emotions also make her sometimes a little vulnerable. Looking forward to continue with the main story now! |
Liz chapter 10 . 11/22/2010 PLEASE UPDATE SOOOOOOOOOOON! |

macgamer chapter 10 . 8/15/2010 Excellent chapter! I'm glad John Henry is such a good friend to Savannah, she's amazing but really confused about herself right now and needs to see herself as she really is and not the horrible person she'd worried she is... maybe someone can help her, John Henry can only do so much it seems, which is too bad, I'd love to see them get closer. I hope that Amy can work through her jealousy issues with Abigail, but no one is paying attention to her and I feel bad about that, she really needs a friend and John and Cam to notice what she'd going through. Having to take care of her while John and Cam go off on the raid will be very interesting! Anyway, as always, this is one of the first stories I read! |
jojobevco chapter 10 . 8/1/2010 Good Chapter, I hope you finish filling in Savannah's backstory, like why she hates humans and the like. Oh and find her a significant other that's not John Henry. |
Bert chapter 10 . 7/30/2010 Here goes the night... Please keep your work up. It is really good. |
Nyrki chapter 10 . 7/29/2010 Savannah is not going well. The incident with Bent, Cameron's baby, her preference for the machines. All put toghether with some alcohol and she's not herself anymore, wondering what she is. She badly needed comfort and affection. John Henry had been clumsy with her but he eventually found the right words. He finally decided to take care and protect her. That was a neat scene. I really hope she will be alright and find balance in her life. How will her relationship with JH evolve? Wait and see. John's nightmare was very scary. He's not confident and he hopes it was not prophetic, but you turned the story in a way it must have to be. We will see in the next chapters what will happen, but they both push the risk to the maximum, despite what they say. What a strange sensation to see Cameron unable to come to life again. John sensed the terror his life could become without her. She told him her life is nothing without him, but what about his? This is always when something/somebody is gone that you discover how desperately you needed it. Their relationship is beautiful in this way their mutual life closely depend on the other, for different reasons. Now they have a familly, the security topic becomes an obsession for both of them, but they cannot help, but go and face the danger. I understand Cameron's reaction to John's decision. She's torn between going with him and stay with Abi. There is risk for them not to return and leave Abi alone. Cameron trusts John's promise but she's starting to understand the promise's power of self suggestion, but its limits too. Cameron is very thoughtful in these circumstances and that doesn't make the reader very comfortable. I liked this chapter's general tone: taking uneasy decisions and seeking comfort by searching the answer to the question "did I take the right decision?", humans and machines being for once equal in front of it. Yet another great chapter, BB. I hope they all will be alright. |
