...Why does this remind me of another story? For the life of me I can't find it anywhere, but it was one of the only ANOES fics I ever liked (I'm not a fan of horror). I read this originally thinking that this was it, and then when I realized it wasn't, I kept on reading. The writing was just so interesting I had to read 'just one more chapter'. Before I knew I'd read the whole thing. It was mainly the poetry that hooked me, or that's what I'm telling myself, LOL. :P I enjoyed this work, and I wish you the very best of luck on your writing!

As I read the last two chapters "My Girl" by the Temptations came on and the whole vibe was thrown off and I laughed as Marcus was being tortured.

This is my first fic into this fandom despite not seeing the movies. I always seem to miss them when they air on the networks. I greatly enjoyed this foray into a world I'm not used to. I can definitely see the personality in each character and their dynamic together is amazing.

Five years and I've only just discovered this now, on the cusp of the Halloween month? Seems cruel, but then I'm not very patient. It would have driven me mad to wait for each delicious chapter. Absolutely wonderful writing, characterization and plot. So rare to find an original character and Freddy with this kind of dynamic, without the fluffy bullshit. Fan-fucking-tastic!

Actually in the original films the creators said that Freddy was intended to be a child molester but they ditched the plan and only made him a child killer. The child molester plot was added to the new movies

This story, is absolutely amazing.
Never have I read something so simple, so short and abrupt, yet so meaningful, entertaining, and so completely interesting.
Especially the way you developed the characters, and most of all their relationship.
Each and every chapter was absolutely enthralling, I could not stop reading them.
This is perfect, I cannot describe it in any other way.
I'll definitely be checking out your other works.

That was very, very wonderful. When I found this fic I wasn't too sure I would like it, Generally I'm not one to read anything with Freddy because I'm always disappointed, no one seems to write him right, but you wrote him wonderfully. I really enjoyed reading this, and I will I had found it back when I was being written so I could have tried my hand in those prompts, but on the other hand I love what's been done here. I couldn't put it down, I have dinner with my dad tomorrow (err later today) but I knew that if I put this down to head to bed, I would find it on my phone and read it anyway lol.

I'm going to recommend this to a friend I think she'd enjoy reading this too. (I'm still in post story absorption, and I'm tired, I think I"d me more articulate if I waited to review, but I couldn't wait!)

Once I started I couldn't stop reading this story until I finished it...and it was very, veeerrrryyyy good! One of the best Freddy stories I've read : )

I didn't read into your authors note last time. But Ian sad to see it end. My favorite part was the last line. " I believe in you." once I thought about it And read the bold letters I see what you mean. The only reason ppl could be hurt was because they unknowingly gave him the power willingly through thier fear. This girl right here is the perfect match for Freddy because she wants to feel and is growing to through the story but your right, Freddy has as much of a chance of saying " I Love you" as Riddick does. And I can't see either bowing on one knee and story as I said in another comment I love this story
