This story is probably never going to be updated, but it was an amazing read. I honestly don't know how this was supposed to end, cause anything can happen now. I really hoped America would return to the United States, but I guess he can't cause it isn't there. I also somewhat wanted to know what Russia has been thinking on this whole ongoing situation. You wrote the characters' relationships, and the conflicts Alfred feels especially well. I'm just so glad you were able to write so much for this AU, and do it wonderfully. It's been almost ten years, so it's understandable that this story will remain unfinished, but this is truly amazing, so it'd be enjoyable if the story was ever returned to.

It's an amazing fic. I can feel every single fucking emotion coming through, and it's amazingly written.
BUT THE CLIFF HANGER. AND THIS PROBABLY WONT BE UPDATED EVER AGAIN. ARG.

But really there's a reason I'm mad.
It's because I can't even think of how it should end.
On the one hand, it's called a rusame fic for a reason, and therefore there should be a happy love scene or something like that.
On the other hand, every single piece of my being is rooting for America to go home, back to his real home in the US, to get back his independence as a nation, and to work past what is obviously an abusive and manipulative relationship. I want him to tell someone. Namely Canada. Just go up and say "I don't know who I am anymore. I don't know the date, I don't know what's happened in the world, I don't know what's happened to /me/."
But I don't even know what the intended ending is. And shit, I might have half the mind and bitterness to take the idea of "Russia is a fuck and kidnaps America" just so I can put my own spin on it.
