I really loved the point that was made in this story, because everything in it is true and they really had to have had that conversation at some point. I also kinda like them actually getting mad at each other for once...they don't clear the air often enough. ;D Thanks for posting!

I've always wanted to know how they would react if they find out the reason why Ed disappeared at Briggs. Wonderful concept and definitely heart-wrenching.

A few parts seemed blown out of porportion; for example, "What I'm trying to say is, due to the severe wear that his condition had on his body systems, it is extremely possible that his expected life span has been shortened, and he may never quite be as strong as he was before. There might be complications."

It's kind of a given that there would be complications after Al regained his body. I doubt anyone ever thought that he'd get back to his full strength. They would probably ask more about the "complications" before freaking out.
