The way you've developed the characters feels so natural. And your oc's fit so perfectly. Thank you for giving me the smart, capable Jazmine that I knew was there, the slightly wiser more mature Riley, and the emotional glimpses into Huey. I've been going through your stories and each one makes me want to see more of Maya. You have a real talent for not only the original characters but creating strong characters of your own. I really do relate to hiro no i never self harmed but you can be broke paying bills in debt and still be happy because you are staying true to yourself you can also be rich and be miserable because you wasnt true to who you are. Im grown now...sometimes i had sometimes i didnt ive been in some bad situations but I always stayed true to myself even if it meant leaving and going somewhere that will help me to better myself and follow my dreams. You really cant judge a book by its cover.

Wowza! This story is so good that I'm reading in at two in the morning and while I have a 73 in economics! (Internal sobbing while laughing) I normally hate anything that focuses on real life problems, but this story has done an amazing job at capturing how I've been feeling. I've read some of your other stories and I am immensely jealous of your talent. I need to know if it works out in the end for my own mental state. Please please please update because I don't know if I can take it.

P.S. Jazmine is driving me insane. I know that all I want is for her and Huey to get back together in the end, but I find myself wondering what's going to happen if she continues this path? Oh and I loved the baseball scene! Huey didn't know what to think!

You do not know how much it ached me reading this story. I felt everything. Whenever a character was going through an awkward/upsetting stage I felt it. It's weird but the way you wrote it was powerful enough for me to actually visualize every scenario vividly. I know last time you updated was 4 years ago and I just found this story by typing "Boondocks fanfiction" in the Google search bar, but you have to update. I think you did an excellent job on portraying each characters lifestyle in a very detailed manner. I felt like you didn't exclude or shorten any of their lifestyles and everyday struggles. I understand people get busy and writers block is a b*tch (I'm getting ready for college this September and I've isolated myself from reading and writing multiple times) But whenever you have spare time, write a couple of ideas. Eventually you'll get inspired to continue this. Plus season 4 starts this Monday at 10:30 PM

There are many parts to this chapter I love.

Lets start with Cindy. I don't understand her mother; you slapped her not too long ago for saving your crazy tail from your crazier boyfriend. When she leaves and you finally realize it, you want her to return because she's your daughter. Daughter being used loosely. I hate Cindy's mom with a passion.

Now, the tie breaker is MayaHiro/HueyJaz interaction. I don't know what I love the most. Maya discovering of Hiro's dark secret (which I knew, I totally knew XD) was touching. Tough, crazy, violent Maya bawling her eyes out for sweet, little Hiro. It is extremely touching, and it makes me a bit sad. Reading the differences between their personalities, and the gradual change when they're around each other, is also detailed and well put. I get the passion and heat in each word, and I was leaning forward for more. "I hate you" has never sounded so bitter.

HueyJaz. My gawd, what has happened to Jazzy? Oh, I can answer that-life has happened. Neither Tom and Sarah are faithful, and it makes you wonder why are they even still in a marriage? Jazmine is finally through with trying to please everyone, and in a way turning into something Huey has always wanted her to be-in a way. You know how he always think she's too soft or too naive, well, she's changing now. The only problem, she's throwing him in the garbage like a rag doll. Gotta say, I was proud of her when she hit that ball-extremely proud. "OMG RUN JAZZY, RUUUUNNNN!" Fierceness in Jazmine Dubois is something to love and fear.

HayleyRiley. She encounters "The Other Freeman Boy", and I like it. It must get hard for Riley constantly being compared to his brother; I know I would get pissed off too. Because everyone has certain expectations or none for that matter, it can really get to him. I'm just glad Hayley pointed it out for him, and instead of calling him TOFB she just called him as he is.

You know I'm usually more excited when leaving reviews. Right now, I'm running on coffee smothered in vanilla sweetner and sugar. I am not going to bed anytime soon, and I think this is disrupting my normally erratic thinking process, ahaha.

Each chapter is better than the last. The evolution of the story and the involution of the characters is amazing. I hope to read more, and I'm looking forward to the next update. Only update when you can! :D

There are times when I'm left wondering what is really going on in Riley's brain. I believe he has the potential to be a lot like Huey, but he refuses to grasp it. He has to be the opposite of Huey because its only natural for him to be so. While everyone questions "how can they be related?" I think they should put that theory in account. Their opposition makes them brothers. I'm amazed I just came to that; must be the coffee I had this morning.

Maya is my all time favorite Boondocks oc. I'm sure you know this; I've told you. Huey pretty much summed up my reasons for loving her.

"Because despite her cold and unpleasant demeanor, she is actually a good person with well placed intentions," Huey said in a bored tone.

Sums it up pretty well, and Maya is one of the rare ocs that fits perfectly into the story. Its not revolving around her, but she has her part. Her violent, confrontational, and irrational behavior makes me love her. Also, her wise, sometimes compassionate side gets to me. Plus, I love her friendship with Hiro. Its sweet.

*MayaHuey shipper* lol.

"I hate you" only means "I love you" in volatile relationship language.

On a serious note, Jazmine and Maya's conversation really did spark something. She can really handle it some times; they can talk together without explosions. I think that's because of Jazzy's personality.

Cindy. I swear does Cindy have an eating disorder? Because I'm fearing that she does; I'm afraid for her because I love Cindy. I fear she has an eating disorder.

Huey P. Freeman has to be the hardest character I've written for. lol. I enjoy writing him though, XD

I LOVE LOVE FUDGING LOVE this. Your story gets better with each chapter, and I'm sooo happy you were able to update. In 10 minutes mtp will be extremely happy.
