I don't know if you are still on here or if anyone is still reading this, but I just wanna say this. I have been working on a soft reboot of this franchise, and for Susan, I'm writing in a girlfriend for her, and this story made me happy to do that. So, thank you.

The team always has seemed to specialise in organisational fiascos. I never thought it plausible that they could 'escape' for very long.

I have no doubt that Derek will wake up in a hospital bed in a military prison with a very, very nastily-drafted Non Disclosure Agreement being thrust under his nose. It will be made abundantly clear that he will never mention 'Ginormica' to anyone ever again, let alone try to contact her, unless he wants to spend the rest of his life in prison.

"What about the reward I was offered?" he'll ask the General.

"Your reward is that I'm giving you a chance to keep your mouth shut rather than just lock you away, Mr Deitl. Don't look that gift horse in the mouth."

It's downplayed because MvA is basically a kids' film but Susan must have been terrified when she started to mutate. Then she is captured and apparently first imprisoned and then apparently enslaved by the army along with a whole group of freak show exhibits. For a long while, she must have thought that her life was over.

Heres my idea. The fist movie with either a robot or a gremlin on the team. As added humor he dislikes Derek immediatly.

What if Susan's parents worked for Monger and were the ones who turned her in at her wedding?

What if Vorican was a Xenomorph

What if a snarky gremlin joined the team the same time as susan?

IE: with him telling her Derek seems like a jerk

What if Susan ended up like Anakin Skywalker
