Even though this was chronologically out of order you could still fowllow it. And something about that almost random flashback at the end after you already know they don't end up together was extremely heart wrenching, like something you would see in an independent movie. It Gave me the painfully nostalgic feeling off my own past failed relationships.

There's this word...one of my favorites in French-my second language- "Amertume". That's...just how I feel when I read this. Sadness laced with bitterness, disappointment, nostalgia, disgust and rancour. It expresses a type of emotional affliction. This is just, something I will never forget.

Loved it! Whenever I think of Sasuke and Sakura having a relationship this is what usually comes to mind, a bittersweet tale, that you had so beautifully weaved into words.

Hon, this story was amazing. It was short and sweet, bitter and devestating to all of those people (me included) that wanted Sakura and Sasuke to be together. But then you think of it and it seems he made the right choice, not for love but for his child, and Sakura understands that and grows with it. It is horrible that Naruto is dead; as that is and will always be her best friend, and her way to get through all of the pain seemed to be Sasuke, even though she knew it was wrong. It was beautiful in a strange way, but hey, most stories are. This one was a favorite of mine, and I think of it as a unique ending instead of a 'bad' one. There are no 'bad' endings to stories. The angst and drama was indeed satisifying, and I can't help but wonder if you might be making a sequel? For give me if there is already one up or that this is a one shot (darn it is, I just read the top), because this is the first story that I have read of yours. I admire your way of writing and ideas, though depressing they might be, it oddly fit. I think the flashbacks are placed just right, and the end made me laugh even though it was more sad than funny. I guess it all depends on how you look at it. :) Great job.

this story has possibilities... but it makes no sense at all for a ninja(or even an ex-ninja) to move outside the village. yeah, not the most important point and all, but still it doesn't make sense
