What a sad but beautiful chapter!Go ahead, Charlie!

I've never watched "Numb3rs." My knowledge on the series is limited to the info I found at Wikipedia and on an article written by one of the show's consultants. Yet I didn't have any problems to understand and enjoy this one-shot. The circumstances are totally clear, as well as Charlie's feelings and difficulties.

The ambiguous ending is just perfect. Anything else would have made the story look silly, lame, ordinary. As a reader, I like being intellectually and creatively stimulated. So I loved it that you gave me the chance to use my imagination to explore all of the possibilities left by those final lines.

Not a story I love an it does not work as a stand alone but it is a good start.

Ackk . . . love the premise but if this is a stand alone, I just can't live with the

ending.

One or both Amita or Charlie should die or Charlie should resolve the problem.

I don't like having to form my own conclusion.
