I do I do! I found the first book in junior high and the second book a few years later! I have loved them since the first reading and have wanted more fanfic of these books for (literal)!years! I wish I could write fiction, but sadly can’t. I really hope that you continue to add to the amount of Mairelon fiction!

I'm glad that somebody decided to do a maeirleon(sp?) fic. This made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I really loved it.

Yay! Fluffy fluff! Mairelon the Magician and The Magician's Ward are also favorite books of mine, and I've always wanted more of them. This may not be the third in the series that I've been dreaming of, but it's a much more satisfactory ending for the second. Thanks!

That was a delightful rendition of the last part of the Magician's Ward. I enjoyed it; quite cute.

Okay, I rediscovered Mairelon books in a bookstore a couple days ago and I was all "SCORE!" When I finished reading them, I immediately hit the internet to see if there was a third installment (unforunately, no) or some awesomely awesome fanfiction (score, part deux!)

It's sad that a search for "mairelon" on only yeilds about five results. (I was hoping for crazyawesome Mairelon/Kim smut, but I guess that's too much to ask for.) This was seriously seriously great! It's so good to see some well-written M/K fluff around! It warms the cockles of my heard to know that there were other people who read the end of Ward and thought "ELABORATION?" And you've got some mad writing skillz too, so bonus!

I just reread the two Mairelon books this weekend for, like, the billionth time and fell in love with them all over again. Then I remembered this story, which I had come across a long time ago, and I had to read it again. I absolutely agree with you: I needed more fluff at the end! This is a lovely cap to the original ending. Hey-whatever happened to the longer fic you were planning on? If you post it, I can guarantee you at least one reader...

I thought that Kim seemed very much in character. I'd love to see your other fic, whenever you get it up. I love the Mairelon universe just as much, if not more. Did you know that there's a fan site entirely devoted to it? It's called mairelon dot com.

By the way, Regency and Victorian weddings were vastly different. If you want to find out more about Regency weddings, search for "Jessamyn's Regency Costume Companion." There's a whole section about weddings during that time.
