Thoroughly enjoyed this story. wasn't sure I'd like Salazar, but he was perfect for Harry. Appreciated the way you took the wizard world. Made sense to me. Thanks for the story.

Even though this story was completed years ago, I can’t help being a nerd and asking about Salazar’s language. If he’s been in stasis for over a thousand years and he’s from the UK, he’d be speaking Old English—pretty much only the prepositions would be the same. I’m sure this little glitch could be explained away with magic. However, if he’s going to be Harry’s love interest, I think it’d be super exciting and sexy for people to be able to hear his true, chillingly archaic language, even as some kind of translation charm (like a language “glamour”) enabled them to understand the meaning. But, like I said, I’m a huge nerd, especially about language, so maybe that idea isn’t so hot to other people, haha. Of course, even without a translation charm (kind of a cop-out, isn’t it?), he and Harry could bypass any problem with Parseltongue. That will probably come up in any case. Which will also be hot.

Looking forward to continuing reading, seeing where this goes and how Harry deals with his trauma...
