This, I think, is one of my favorite lines in the story.

God, this was BRILLIANT! The perfect mix of romance, humor/crack, lust and drama. Your characters were spot on, and the dialogue was FANTASTIC. I love your characterization and your description - you can really set a scene. And poor fluffball Near! Haha!

All in all a fantastic story. I enjoyed every part of it. You sense of plot is refreshing and nowhere in here did you fail to deliver. Deserves to be favorited, very much, and will be revisited many times over!

This was such a great story! At the beginning, I was thinking that Matt and Mello weren't already in a relationship because all Mello seemed to care about was studying and besting Near, but i saw that I was wrong. I absolutely LOVED how they cursed each other out in different languages! :D "And freaking TROY. He needs to DIE" was probably my favorite line, just saying. I could totally imagine Mello losing it and ranting insanely about that. lol. And poor Near! I felt so bad for the little guy when he couldn't go in the bounce house and he's all "It's okay, I'll just play with my Rubix Cube while you guys have fun.." I was gonna cry. He's too adorable! Anywho, I just wanted to say that I LOVE this story, so thanks! 3

Bwahahaha. I base my fics partially on real life experiences too. Anyway, I love how Mello (with Near's help) completely dominated the verbal argument with Troy. I also like how you mention the crowds reactions to things they do in public. Hehehe, homophobes getting disturbed is one of the funniest parts of these stories.

It was sort of sweet having Mello be nice to Near. I kind of hate MxN with a passion, but as friends maybe. I'm not sure what his motivation for being nice was, maybe to a point not wanting to mess up his date with Matt. Whatever the reason, it was nice, and the situations they found themselves in were hilarious.

I love Heartburn, but it's nice to read some things by you of a different tone. )

Ah! Holli-chan, you had me laughing for the entire thing, including the Swaering in another language and Near being a "Child" and "glaring" at Mello.
