annamccallen chapter 1 . 3/8/2019
He sure has an interesting life! I wonder if the whole house of potter knows about his "condition". Least no matter bad his life ever was he can start a life with no memories.
Cyril Kain chapter 1 . 11/9/2018
...Damn! That is most definitely a fate worse than death! Obviously, though, either he read his own books, which is doubtful because he doesn't remember Luna or any of his previous wives, or some of his memories are carried by his magic, because the nurse, his descendant, is named after his first female friend.

Good news, though, is that he forgot the Dursleys and Dumbeldore!
Guest chapter 1 . 9/6/2018

Readerjkr chapter 1 . 8/7/2018
Wow. Quite in line with several fanfics I’ve read, but still the only one in which the consequences of being a phoenix animagus are thought through in this direction. Thank you.

Oh the poor poor Harry, this is a true tragady to live forever like a phoenix, but never remembering what he learned is both a blessing and a curse.

jon reeve chapter 1 . 1/11/2017
Well damn.

I think people usually make his wife immortal too, but still.

Your "Great Integration" result is what always springs to my mind whenever I read story where that is the goal. No doubt in my mind that someone, somewhere, would do some dissecting.
janefanatic chapter 1 . 8/31/2016
Wow, this got to me! Thanks for sharing!
Ibskib chapter 1 . 8/15/2016
Seems to me that there should have been a way around it, in a world with pensieves, Legilimency etc. and many years of progress, it should have been possible for him to keep his memories, perhaps by storing them and then restoring them to him again after he's aged a bit beyond the toddler stage, though I'm not sure why he should lose his memories when it seems like Fawkes doesn't.

And if he wants to die, what about the veil of Death?
If Voldemort found a way to become immortal, then there should be the possibility of going the other away.
