Confession - I don't actually know much about Gossip Girl other than who the main characters are and a bit about their personalities. But I saw this on someone's Favorites list and it caught my eye because it was based on Emma!

I think you've done a really great job of using Austen's novel as a foundation for your own original story. I really like seeing how you updated it and it was very well-written.

I loved it.

Perfect ending :) It's hilarious that they're taking bets on S breaking of the engagement.

"Oh! Oh." He says with a panic to his voice, "I don't like the sound of that."

"What? Why?"

"Waldorf," he says excusing himself a little from her so that he can look at her in the eye, "lately whenever you have felt sorry for anyone it has inevitablly led to you fixing them up with someone. It's not a good sign."

"Strange you should say that Humphrey. I felt sorry for you and look who you got fixed up with! It's not all that bad"

"Cute." He smiles at her and when she returns the gesture he is unable to stop himself from lowering his head and kissing her soundly

I loved this part so effing much.

I love at the end that she called him Cabbage Patch just like at the beginiing when they first met at NYU :) Love this story.

Ahhh! Wonderful chapter! Dan, Nate and Serena brainstorming over Blair was hilarious. Nate's tips and Blair's ban on Jenny and Dan's discomfort with NJ and his line about the dysfunctional nature of their group cracked me up. Last scene with DB! A great ending to a great fic. I was so disappointed with NYU Arc on the show, so glad you wrote this.
