Oh, this is just so wonderful. There's just so much between the lines, so much suspended in the silence. There's just so much left unsaid that one could wallow in it. I love the subtlety of your writing, I love how you describe their heartwarming nervousness, I love your simplistic, yet immaculate language. This fic is a perfect still life of the two soeurs, and I am grateful that you have shared this with us.

Ah! This story is beautifully written, and the little haunted tale added interest. Noriko and Shimako are portrayed really well too.

This was a lovely read. Very tender and in keeping with the characters, yes. I did wonder why Noriko would choose one of her uncle's (deceased?) shirts. That was a little jarring...

Is this a new piece? I kept thinking as I read the first part that you write very delicately - I'm not sure if it's the genre or the pairing, but it just seemed very tender, which suited the scene and characters (which I'm admittedly not familiar with) well. I was a little surprised that you chose to end it there though (no contrived reason to become closer friends? :-p)
