arksy chapter 1 . 6/6 Toothless, get real, c’mon. You know you could tear them apart if you wanted to, so why do you care what they have to say? And anyway, why can’t Toothless be his and /vice versa/, huh? (I thought it sounded wholesome, you know, belonging to each other, /puzzle pieces/!) Is this an inferiority complex I hear? “No, no, I am mighty and strong and *I am not his pet*!” Sheesh. It’s not that big of a deal. Hiccup knows, you know. That’s enough. Put them in their place if you’re so peeved. And Toothless needs to get his thoughts across with Hiccup—he needs to know exactly why Toothless harmed him. That’s a point of trust for Hiccup; “Toothless will never willingly harm me, everyone knows that!” But look what happened. I bet he feels uneasy on the inside, with such a solid point of trust absolutely crushed. But why didn’t Toothless just paw him away? Run away? I thought he was very gentle with Hiccup, even in the cove during the befriending phase, with Hiccup trying to touch his damaged tail fin like a moron. He had every reason to bite his hand off then—but he didn’t. And why does he allow words such as “train,” anyway? It’s clearly befriending—the title of the movie was just there because that’s what the book was called, where you actually /trained/ dragons, and only that. Well, this is an interesting topic to tackle, but I don’t think you came to the conclusion I’d hoped you to come to—the one above. Basically, it doesn’t matter what people think, c’mon, Toothless, you’re better that that. But that didn’t happen. Too bad. PS: what’s this with dragons eating humans, especially /blood/? I thought it was established humans don’t taste very good, and that’s why they took animals on raids, not humans. (Also, I think they focus on the **flesh** part when eating something, rather than the blood, seeing as they’re not /vampires/ and they don’t exactly have a way of draining it out and drinking it in cups, /come on/!) They’d‘ve lost the dragon war a long time ago if they were taking humans—and also, why would they make peace with a good source of food? My god, this doesn’t make any sense. |

Katz4 chapter 1 . 7/29/2015 aww, cute, just the perfect amount of cute. I like your style. I like Toothless's though process throughout, it seemed in character enough especially early on in their relationship. I think he is very protective and possessive of 'his Hiccup'. The Dreary of yours was believably rude. And there was this one line "I could possibly consider my Hiccup a younger hatchling." I read that, thought about it a second, and then went "little brother!" and died from adorableness. Don't know why I just really liked that. |
