Hi! I just wanted to make a quick review. I've commented before, and read this story a million times before, but I just want to thank you (again) for writing this fic and all of these other fics you've written for Tony and Pepper. I've been reading them and a fan of them since the very beginning. I'm a big fan and miss the website you had dedicated to these stories. I really like the pics you posted with each chapter, they really set the setting. I especially like the pics you posted of Malibu Mansion. I saw the website went down several years ago, and was really sad to see it.

Thank you for these stories. They expand and carry their story; their world so far beyond the movies. Each story is a whole new world, all completely different from each other. I've just re-read (again) Recluse, and will re-read all the fics you've written for Pepperony.

Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely perfect. Great finish, not rushed, not incomplete. "Knowing where a story should end", indeed.
I feel a great swell of gratitude to Lou, hats off for the mighty Cat. And I like very much that Tony did not just suddenly get the mental fortitude to go outside and battle Stane on the lawn - seen too many of those, zero reality, such a shame. It is also great to see a slightly insecure Tony, he is usually portrayed with a great heaping of self-confidence in all things he does, even when he is supposedly insecure... a slight paradox, that.
The general Tony Stark Fandom seems to be in agreement that he is a rather tactile person when out of the public eye, it was interesting to see this written through the lens of long-term solitude and borderline isolation, very interesting indeed. The reverence of fingers through your hair - genious, and so obvious when you think about it. Which I'm guessing not a lot of people do but everyone can agree, it's insanely comfortable and really rather intimate when you consider it.
Obadiah Stane. So wonderfully evil. Ambitious, Efficient, Clever, Intimidating and so realistic. It is a sad day when one can look at a character like that and easily picture him standing in front of you due to the depravity of today's society, but it makes for such delicious reading that I am just happy that some people see the darkness in real life clearly enough to put it on paper to let us mere mortals know what to look out for.
"We'll start with going out and getting the mail, Tony." It is very comforting to see that one of them still has their head on straight, I would worry for him otherwise.
Hmm, this is turning into a novel. I am going to go sleep on this and dream bad dreams about men in dark suits carrying cigars, and then tomorrow I will go digging through your significant pool of published stories. I am very much looking forward to it :)

I am really impressed with how you've woven intimacy into the story as well - not an easy feat if you're looking for realistic scenarios. Adults acting like adults and not like pornstars or fumbling teenagers, kudos to you :)

I have yet to stop by your profile but when I'm done here I most certainly will, your writing is excellent. I like your slow weaving in of canon characters; many authors have them center stage by the end of chapter one but I was starting to wonder where such a central role as Rhodey had gone off to, and then lo and behold, there he is. Speak of the Devil, right?
Anyhow, sorry I've taken so many chapters to drop a line. I most certainly will again before the end of this and I hope to get 'round to more of your works tomorrow.

A nice read, I really enjoyed it.

After another re-read, going back to my prior comment from July, based on description from author (and Pepper) POV, I can now picture her ex as Phil. Hahaha. I guess, fresh from watching IM/Pepperony vids on YT before first reading this back then, the thought of Pepper and Phil as a couple didn't sit well with me. But, because he became the ex and Tony is the one to have brought new feelings she's never felt, I'm good now. Hahaha.

And another observation I made, though didn't comment on previously, you ended this story beautifully. You are a smart author and know your story well enough that the ending was on point and perfect. Kudos!

'Recluse' is a great and engaging read; well written and I liked the emotions and characterizations of Tony and Pepper, as well as the supporting cast. (Though I really can't picture Phil and Pepper together. That part weirded me out. I was trying to pretend it was an OC. Haha!) Well done!

It's awesome and i every time i say this great and what happens next . I would like to see how they will progress after tony is out to live and if he will join the avengers . I want to see his childish acts and his possessiveness of pepper .

I don’t usually get into AU’s this AU...but I loved it. I really enjoy your Ironman works in general. Here’s hoping Avengers 3 and 4 inspire your Pepperony muse :)
