I actually felt my stomach dropped when I read Keats calling Alex Bolly. I had to go and make sure it was him and not Gene for a moment. Well handled. Love it. :)

Hey, I'm usually awful at reviewing, but that was so fab I just had to. You've captured all the characters perfectly, which is unusual because poeple often manage Gene and Alex but don't get the supporting cast quite as well. You've got everyone true to character AND come up with an entirely believeable and yet unusual scenario. The relationship between Gene and Alex came across perfectly, and I'm left with nothing constructive to say except keep on writing, I can't wait to read more from you. Loved it,

Aw! That's so sweet, I love the playful wink Gene gives her at the end. It was a little unlike him, but in a nice way. I hate it when people go so over the top with Galex that Gene looses his character.
