You know... I can't help but wonder... Has Danny, in the entire time that he's been at Hogwarts, ever just been floating around 1 of the common rooms & found a wand just left behind? And if he has, has he ever just, playfully, imitated a really common incantation like "lumos?" What would happen? I mean, Harry Potter lore says that if a Muggle tried to wave a real wand there'd be something like a kick-back, but what about in this situation? Like, would he turn out to just be a No-Mag or is he a Halfa whose also magic?
I mean, heck, he might've been a Wizard all along but because his family is so obnoxiously supernatural & the town he lives in is now Spooksville USA, maybe the entire town of Amity has just been... blacklisted by MACUSA from ever attending Illvermorny? So, now no one from Amity ever learns of magic, not even those with magic.
… I'm pretty sure that this was the plot of 1 of another great DPxHP Crossover actually...

Awesome story

You know one of the surprising things you hinted in this fic is the startling romance between Danny and Hermione. I am convinced there is SOMETHING. At least on Hermione's side, because it seems Danny's oblivious and just confused with a lot of problems plus with his feelings for Sam.

The end just made me confirmed that there is someone staring under Danny's nose. He's kind of dense to notice. It's really convincing, his POV in that angle. Because I have read this 5x and it honestly hadn't occurred to me about Hermione and Danny pairing till I actually took notice of Hermione's reaction, and Danny's confusion of his feelings for Sam just made me realize where the story is going. I find that Danny and Hermione would be a one of a kind, a unique relationship, and I am convinced that you'll be able to slow-burn it realistically and I would definitely love to see that Danny would notice Hermione in a different light. Like really notice her.
